SAIT community surpasses 100 charitable projects goal
Update: 100 Project Projects final tally
Looking back: From 100 to 150 and counting
This past year, SAIT employees, alumni, students, partners and friends were busy — being charitable, that is. As part of our centennial celebrations, we set a target of 100 charitable projects completed by the end of our centennial year. We've reached our goal and we're still going strong.
In true SAIT fashion, hitting our goal of 100 projects isn't enough and a new goal of 150 projects has been set in honour of Canada's 150th birthday.
"It's incredible — surpassing 100 projects," says Cathy Downy, Centennial Director. "It's a real testament to everyone who participated. We're so proud of what we've done together for our community.
"The 100 Projects Project is such a great opportunity for us to take our passion and enthusiasm and share it with our city, province, country and the world — we've had projects in our own backyard and around the globe. It's inspiring."
