About the Lodge
As a place of learning, Natoysopoyiis welcomes the entire SAIT community to learn about First Nations, Metis and Inuit histories and cultures.
SAIT promotes understanding - not only of the culture and values of Indigenous peoples but of all peoples - and provides the opportunity to meet, engage, and learn together as one diverse community.
We are committed to the success of our students. Natoysopoyiis provides the following services:
- career and program counselling to help you develop successful learning strategies to prepare you to succeed in your studies
- advising around funding options and housing
- access to computers, quiet and group study spaces, and a place to connect with your peers
- meetings with Elders for cultural and spiritual advising and ceremonial smudging
- networking events with prospective employers
- events and programming celebrating Indigenous heritage, culture and achievements.
Elder visits
Natoysopoyiis organizes visits by tribal elders available for personal consultations or class presentations.
