CADD Operator Level II Certificate of Achievement

Program Description

In computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), operators use computer software to create technical plans and drawings with applications in architecture, construction and a range of industries. The four courses in CADD Operator Level II Certificate of Achievement build on material covered in Level I and introduce three-dimensional (3D) drafting and the customization and programming of AutoCAD.

Canada-Alberta Job Grant This program is eligible for Canada-Alberta Job Grant funding.


You have up to five years to complete all certificate courses. You must meet the graduation requirements as they exist at the time you register for your first course (see AC.3.1.1 Grading and Progression).

AutoCAD III CADD-114 Classroom or Online
MicroStation III CADD-123 Classroom or Online
AutoCAD-Advanced CADD-116 Online
AutoLISP CADD-117 Online

Several course codes have changed effective Summer 2017. The previous courses are considered equivalent, including AutoCAD III (CADD-303), MicroStation III (CADD-323), CADD System Management II (CADD-342), AutoCAD - Advanced (CADD-404) and AutoLISP (CADD-405).
