Develop the skills to professionally interact with customers and technicians in the automotive and heavy equipment industry. Learn how to manage daily transactions with service customers, build strong relations and develop high Customer Service Index (CSI) and repeat business through professional advising.
Action-based learning includes:
- Managing work orders
- Selling vehicle maintenance
- Communicating with customers, technicians, parts staff and management
- Service follow-up
- Addressing customer concerns
- Understanding gross profit and upsell
Get into the industry and start your career in professional advising or advance your career in your existing dealership as a Service Advisor.
Opportunities exist for Professional Service Advisors in:
- Automotive dealerships
- Heavy equipment dealerships
- Recreation Vehicle (RV) dealerships
- Motorcycle dealerships
Students with higher secondary or post-secondary marks usually experience greater success in SAIT's programs. To be successful in this program, you must be able to read, write and understand English at
a level that exceeds basic conversational English.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a SAIT Certificate of Completion.
