Course Description

An introductory architectural drafting course that uses sketching techniques, lettering, scaling, geometric constructions, orthographic projection, pictorial drawing (isometric, oblique and perspective), symbols and dimensioning. This course will use CADD software in the preparation of a complete set of working drawings for a light frame single family house. The working drawings will consist of foundation and floor plans, elevations, building section, door and window details, stair details, framing plans, electrical plans and general notes.
