Steps to register
Online Systems Disruption
Online systems will be unavailable on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 10 pm until Sunday, Jan. 21 at 9 am.
Systems affected include:
- registration for continuing education courses
- portions of mySAIT
Access to Brightspace (D2L), email, computer account access and wi-fi will be unaffected.
Step 1: Select your course or program.
Browse our offerings to find the course you want to take. Search by category or keyword to find the course that's right for you.
If you're interested in a credit program, you will need to apply and meet the admission requirements before you can register for a course. Find out everything you need to know before you register.
Step 2: Check the prerequisites.
Some courses have mandatory prerequisites to make sure you have the required background knowledge to be successful. You may register for the course if you have:
- have completed the prerequisite course, or,
- have received credit for the prerequisite, or,
- are currently enrolled in the prerequisite and will complete it before the next one starts.
A recommended prerequisite is listed to promote success in the course and is not mandatory.
Step 3: Register for your course.
Use your Visa or MasterCard to register online, anywhere and anytime. Contact the Office of the Registrar to register over the phone or in person.
Please note: payment is due at the time of registration.
Step 4: Confirm your registration and check your schedule.
Your course registration will be processed by the Office of the Registrar and you will receive a confirmation email with additional information within three business days.
If you already have a SAIT student ID number, you can log in to your mySAIT account and check your schedule.
If you are a new student, you will receive your SAIT student ID number with your confirmation email.
Step 5: Submit a program declaration.
If you intend to complete a non-credit program, submit a Program Declaration form or notify the Office of the Registrar of the program you are working towards. This will be indicated on your academic transcript, making it easier to monitor your progress, check your graduation requirements through mySAIT.ca, or transfer credits in the future.

Cancellations and Refunds
SAIT reserves the right to limit registration, cancel, postpone or combine courses, alter course content, dates or times, and substitute instructors. Full refunds will be issued for cancelled courses.
