1. What are the pool regulations for swimming?
Swimming parties aren’t available until after 1:15 p.m. The parties run during open swim time, there will be other patrons in the pool at the same.
We have a shallow end, but it is still 3.5 feet deep and some children may not be able to touch the bottom.
There will be two lifeguards on duty, but they are NOT party supervisors. The parents are responsible for entertaining the children in the pool.
All children under 8 years old must wear a lifejacket and be supervised by an adult who is in the water at all times. We require 1 adult in the pool for every 3 children under eight (8).
SAIT has lifejackets available for use during the parties.
- Children must perform a swim test for the lifeguards and if they cannot complete it, they must wear a lifejacket. Information about the swim test will be sent out with the confirmation for any swimming parties booked.
