Welcome to SAIT! Fall orientation week will be held August 27 - 31, 2018. Orientation is your opportunity to explore our campus and to connect with your instructors and peers before your studies begin.
Save the date
Keep an eye out for an email from us sharing the day, time and location of your full-day orientation.
Before you attend
Ensure you're properly registered and prepared to attend SAIT and orientation by reviewing your next steps.
ORNT 118 - Orientation
New students beginning a full-time program will be required to attend orientation. Your program-specific orientation is a one-day event where you'll have the chance to meet your instructors, take a tour and connect with your peers. Lunch will be provided to new students registered in ORNT 118.
Program-specific orientation requirements
Some programs have program orientation requirements — check to see if your program requires any additional pre-orientation tasks prior to your first day.
In addition to your program-specific orientation, international students are required to attend the International Student Orientation on Monday, Aug. 27 in Macdonald Hall. This is your opportunity to connect with our staff from the International Centre and fellow international students, learn about key resources on campus that are available to support you throughout your studies and to get information specific to your status as an international student at SAIT.
As an apprentice, you'll attend your orientation on your first day of classes. Learn more about the services available to support your success throughout your apprenticeship.
Orientation is the kick-off for First8, a series of events during your first eight weeks at SAIT to help you succeed.
Transit and parking
Fall parking passes and UPasses are valid from September 1. Learn more about your transit and parking options.
