CADD Operator Level I Certificate of Achievement

Program Description

In computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), operators use computer software to create technical plans and drawings with applications in architecture, construction and other industries. With the five courses in the CADD Operator Level 1 certificate of achievement, you'll master two-dimensional (2D) drafting through hands-on CADD training in AutoCAD and MicroStation software. You'll also review drafting basics and learn CAD construction techniques.

You have up to five years to complete all certificate courses. You must meet the graduation requirements as they exist at the time you register for your first course (see AC.3.1.1 Grading and Progression).

Several course codes have changed effective Fall 2017. The previous courses are considered equivalent, including CADD System Management I (CADD-241), AutoCAD I (CADD-201), AutoCAD II (CADD-202), MicroStation I (CADD-221) and MicroStation II (CADD-222).
