Calf, ankle and foot ultrasound is frequently requested due to the high incidence of abnormalities. Ultrasound is a readily available modality in evaluating these structures. Learners will be presented with the anatomy and abnormalities of the calf, ankle and foot and, through live demonstrations, will learn how the transducer is maneuvered and how images are produced. Opportunities for guided practice in groups will also be provided.
This course is eligible for Canadian Medical Education (CME) credits.
