Your SAIT experience amounts to more than the grade point average (GPA) that appears on your transcript. Your education is built on everything you do while you're a student — inside and outside of the classroom. A Co-Curricular Record (CCR) provides you with an official document that complements your transcript and shows employers the transferable skills and competencies you've achieved through co-curricular experiences.
A CCR helps you track, reflect on and showcase the skills you gain through volunteering, club membership, mentoring, tutoring and more. A strong CCR will provide potential employers with a more comprehensive view of what you can offer to their organizations.
Approved CCR activities include:
- Peer tutoring
- Peer mentorship
- International Centre peer tutoring
- Aviation Student Alliance Club
- Skills Canada electrical trades training
- Fourth-year electrical tutoring
Please visit our form to suggest/register for activity.
By participating in approved CCR activities, you will receive an industry-recognized certificate listing your activities so you can provide to prospective employers. You'll also be better prepared to talk about your skills and experiences on your resumé and during interviews.
How to participate
Many SAIT-based activities are eligible for CCR credit and more are being added every day. Talk to your activity leaders to find out more about the credit you're earning already. Soon you'll even be able to track CCR activities through My Career Hub.
My Career Hub gives you access to our online job board so you can view job opportunities available to SAIT students and alumni, including full-time, part-time, contract, summer, volunteer and work experience positions.
You can also log in to My Career Hub to register for employment workshops, book personalized consultations, track your Co-Curricular Record (CCR) and more.
